The hotel had clean rooms and the front desk staff was friendly, but it was loud and had a noticeable chemical smell. The check-in experience was disappointing, with a receptionist who lacked hospitality and the property seemed rundown.

The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of downtown with easy access to attractions. While the service was impressive, the rooms had unpleasant odors and noise from the nearby karaoke bar was disruptive. The dining options were satisfactory but could use some improvement.

The motel, located above the Bar and Grill, offers comfortable rooms with amenities like a couch and a small table with chairs. While it can get a bit noisy at times due to its location, the overall experience is positive. The service was accommodating in providing adjoining rooms for a family atmosphere; however, friendliness varied among staff members. The location is convenient for pet owners with a small park-like area across the street and easy access to highways, downtown, and various dining options. Overall, the facilities meet basic needs, but may lack some upscale features.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was excellent, close to downtown Portland and accessible by tram or bus, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The rooms, although spacious and clean, faced the freeway, which caused some discomfort due to the noise. The service was helpful and accommodating, but there were issues with cleanliness in the form of stains on the pillowcases.
